What is going on here?
This comic strap is created by Toby Morris about how people in our society nowadays is so plugged into social media that we seems to have forgotten to just look at the world in front of us.

My thoughts:
Social media and internet has allowed us to engaged ourselves with information and people we want to be connected with a lot easier than the world has ever done before. Everything is instantaneous.
However, while in the midst of looking at what our friend shared, looking for excitement in the internet , or just trying to pass time with. We are so focused on our little world told by the little screen in our hand and commentated by the ever excited mind , we forgot to look around at the actual world. We could be missing what the life is trying to offer us. Perhaps life wasn't wasn't exciting ,but rather we just failed to appreciate it in its simplest form. To simply observe and be in the moment.

It is truly an ironic that social media has always boast about how it can connect the world together, well it truly does connect us together. However, what really defines a connection is lost somehow, and heart to heart communication. We care more about what we want to share online and what others are doing than really caring about what is happening to our environment, close relative and friend and truly be there to support them.
Social media isnt bad in my opinon, but we just need to set our mind straight on what we really should care about in our life and don't get lead astray without realizing.
