On Monday (June 8)
Friday morning of June 5,6.0-magnitude earthquake stuck Sabah causing landslide in Mount Kinabalu resulting in 18 death toll thus far. June 8, Singapore marked a day of remembrance.Meanwhile, Four Western tourists accused of being part of a group who posed nude at the top of Mount Kinabalu.What is the impact here?
News of the death spread throughout Singapore.Parents of death pupils deeply sadden. The death of the pupils from the Tanjong Katong Primary School is so striking that even the Sea Game Opening observed a minute of silence.
What is the issue here?
Natural disaster isn't something mankind can control hence the name suggest,however the suspicious parts comes in when a group of naked western tourist were caught in the web of law and blamed for the causes of earthquake is the questionable part here in the incident. I cannot comment about the supernatural reasoning as to why it happen,but i can question about why the blame is put onto these unexpected tourist. Is it a form of distraction from the public so that the public wound not blame the incapability to forecast the likelihood of earthquake? Or is the government trying to find a scapegoat to shift the heat of the incident onto?
My opinion: It is saddening to see the death of people and the tragic effect on their loved ones,however, death is inevitable for everyone. It is just sad to see that they have to leave us so soon.
